I have (luckily) already read one book from the list, the excellent "Suite Francaise" by Irene Nemirovsky. I recommend it highly, and recently reviewed it on my blog. I am about to embark on another, "Beasts of No Nation." I am not sure I will be able to pull off 20, but I think I will aim for 12 (one a month) as a manageable number. Let me know what you think!
