    Oh dear, I haven’t read any of the books you have listed for Australia and I live here! I have heard great things from several people about Kate Grenville’s The Secret River. I really should add it to my ‘must read’ list.

    Oh, Susan, I loved The Secret River! Do you know of books I should add to this list? If so, please let me know!! I am always looking for great books for this challenge, and love when “locals” give me their input!!
