Deb, I think it would make an excellent discussion book – glad my review sparked your interest! All of Atwood’s books are wonderful (so far!), but this is the best, in my opinion.

Oryx and Crake was my first Atwood novel – and since I had thought I didn’t like Dystopian literature, but loved that book…I credit that novel will turning me on to Atwood’s genius! She does Dystopian literature very well

Again this is my favourite Atwood too. Though perhaps she has a great knack for dystopian novels because Oryx and Crake is a close second.

Teddy – I really liked Alias Grace, too (I gave it a 4.5 rating out of 5) – but The Handmaid’s Tale so far is my favorite

I am a huge Atwood fan and loved this book! I found it so chilling that I had trouble falling asleep the first few nights after reading it!
My favorite Atwood, so far is Alias Grace. It is historical fiction.

This is my all-time favorite novel, and what led me to discover the genius that is Margaret Atwood. I am always happy when others love it too!
