Laura: I haven’t read Ali’s first novel – but, I’ve heard only good things about it. And now that I’ve enjoyed her writing here, I will certainly read more by her.

I liked this book too when I read it last spring. Same as you, I enjoy books that are essentially short stories tied together. I felt like a spent a weekend in Portugal. And now I really want to!

This looks great, I love stories that take place in Spain and Portugal. They are such beautiful countries with amazing cultures – they always lend themselves to great stories. I’ll pick up a copy… thanks.

Sounds very interesting. I haven’t read anything from/about Portugal–I’ll be putting this one on my wishlist.
