I’m in the midst of Jackfish right now, and I’m having quite the same reaction. It’s sometimes painful, but I’m so caught up in the story I can’t stop reading. And yes, I’m so hoping that Clemance finds the redemption she seeks so desperately.

Why I should never judge a book by its cover…

This cover looks *dull* so I nearly skipped your review – then decided to read it as I’m intrigued by other reader’s reviewing styles – and what do you know… I’m now adding this to my wish list! *lol*
