As for why I am enraptured with the idea of the Yummy Mummy Manifesto – my husband and I are just about to start adding to the family and the idea of “holding on to your spirit, creativity, wit, and sensuality” during and after pregnancy” is something that really resonated with me. The reminder that I can still maintain my sense of self even with the new job of being a mother is something comforting and inspiring to me. And I love the artwork.

As for the Yummy Mummy Manifesto, I would love this because I feel like my purpose in life has been to be a mother and it has completely fulfilled me. The pictures of mommies and the love so readily displayed between mother and child in the images just completely hits home with me.

Oh, and why I would love the book: I first saw it on MotherTalk but missed out on the Blog tour, and it’s been on my TBR list ever since. Plus, it would be fun to see what my hubby said if I left it lying on the coffee table.
