Frumiousb: I agree (see my review!!!) I was a skeptic until I read this!

Tanabata: Great review on your blog :) Good to hear you loved Music and Silence - so far I've not heard anything bad about that book!

Debbie: I really need to read Theroux - he is one of those writers everyone talks about and I have never read.

Samantha: Come back and let me know what you think after you've read them!

Ruth: *laughs* I consider myself fairly eclectic as well! Makes reading more interesting, doesn't it?

My reading pile is getting more eclectic by the day it seems. On the top of the pile right now is The Pink Forest by Dana Dorfman. It's a seriously cool book about a woman's search for self awareness with, dare I say it, a great message about living in the moment. I'm also in the middle of the latest Daniel Silva, and have a couple of business and self-help books as well as the requisite romance novel for bedtime reading. :)

I've never read any graphic novels either but I've only heard good things about these two. I'm going to have to give them a try :)

I'm reading the new Paul Theroux book, the one where he gets on a train across Asia, reproducing his journey of some years back.

I'm also reading Why We Hate Us. I find it very honest and true, but reading it seems to make me anxious. I have to set it down and try something lighter if I'm ever going to finish it.

I just reviewed Maus (I&II) last week. It's really moving, isn't it?
I've had The Colour buried in Mt. TBR for ages! Glad to hear that you liked it. I read Music and Silence quite a few years ago but really enjoyed it.

Maus is really wonderful, isn't it? I think that the graphic novel form gives it much of its power.
