Tiny: You have some good books in front of you…so far I haven’t read anything really negative about Guernsey…and mostly people are raving about it.

I have a feeling Guernsey will end up on my list, even though I haven’t read it yet! But I’m really looking forward to it.

The House at Riverton and Belong To Me are also on my TBR list, glad to hear they’re so good.

I loved The Translator and The Wednesday Sisters. I have yet to get to my copy of The Sister. I got it as an arc and still haven’t read it, I need to move it up my list!

Katherine: I agree that Guernsey will make the top five for 2008…I would not be surprised at all!

Lenore: Yup – I believe so! I read an Advance Readers Edition … at least I hope it was a 2008 *laughs*

Kerrie: Thanks for stopping by – I would definitely put the Morton book in the Gothic genre… and I’d like to read more of her work.

What a great listing of books for this year. I’ve got a lot of catching up to do to have read them all. I was lucky enough to listen to Marisa de los Santos at the National Book Festival on Saturday and she was wonderful. That really made me regret not having read her novels. If I hadn’t been carrying 30 pounds of books, I would have bought them then and there to get her signature. Thanks again for the great leads.
