I enjoyed both Rebecca the book and the movie…God, Laurence Olivier is good looking . The movie is a bit slow though, but worth watching! Keep an eye on the movie classics channel, that’s where I found it!

I loved the Hitchcock Rebecca! Apparently Olivier was horrid to Joan Fontaine through the entire filming (which gave a really great dimension to their performances, actually.) Both the book and Rachel are superb.

Glad you are enjoying The Year of Fog, and I second the comment about reading No One You Know as well. They’re both among the best books I’ve read this year, and Michelle Richmond did a guest post on my blog back in June.
