Give-Away ENDS DECEMBER 13th at 5:00PM PCT

Thanks to author Michelle Moran, I have three books to give away this week:

  • TWO signed copies of The Heretic Queen (hard cover)
  • ONE signed copy of Nefertiti (trade paperback)

I read both of these books recently (click on each book image above to read my reviews) and loved them. Both are highly recommended for historical fiction lovers.

Moran has a wonderful website with lots of historical background including a Q&A about Nefertiti AND a Q&A about The Heretic Queen. Michelle’s blog History Buff is also fun to browse and includes information ‘about archaeology from around the world.’

I was really excited to see that Moran’s third book Cleopatra’s Daughter will be released in September 2009! To read more and view the trailer, visit this link.

Do you want to win either Nefertiti OR The Heretic Queen? Here are the guidelines:

  • This is an INTERNATIONAL give-away – no geographical restrictions!
  • Please leave a comment telling me why you’d like to win one of these books. Make sure you indicate your preference (if you have one) as to which book you’d like if your name is chosen. You are only allowed ONE ENTRY.
  • Comments will be closed at 5:00PM PCT on Saturday, December 13th.
  • I will draw THREE winners – two people will win a signed hard cover edition of The Heretic Queen, one person will win a signed trade paperback edition of Nefertiti.
  • I will contact winners by email, as well as posting them to my blog. At that time, I will ask for your snail mail AND how you want your book inscribed. If winners do not respond in five days, I will draw another name. Michelle will be mailing the books directly to you!

Good Luck!!!

I would prefer to get The Heretic Queen, but Nefertiti sounds great too! I would like to read one of these books because I love unconventional historical fiction (not the same WWII and Civil War stories over and over). I am especially interested in ancient Egypt. And I have heard good things about these books!

  1. Loved Nefertiti! Would love to review The Heretic Queen and for some reason the review copy I was supposed to get from the publisher never made it to my house.

I would love to win Heretic Queen because I recently read and loved Nefertiti, and my library doesn’t have HQ yet. Thanks!

Along with the others please add me to the drawing! These books sound great and are on my TBR list. Thanks so much!!

  2. I’d love to win Nefertiti! I’m a fan of historical fiction, and I’m interested in ancient Egypt. Thank you for making this giveaway international!

Wow, looks like I skated in at the end of this giveaway! Either book is fine for me. I love this period of history and would love to read more about it in fiction form. Thanks!
