I can vouch for The Amateur Marriage and Case Histories. I read both of them in 2008, and Anne Tyler & Kate Atkinson are now two of my new favorites. However, this coming year I do want to read books by authors whose work I've admired in the one or two books I've already read, but who have a much larger output that I can still explore. I'm starting with Le Carre, Lively and Piercy but I would like to include Lessing and Pamuk as well.
