Oh, Wendy… I’m just shocked. I thought Caribou was doing better. My prayers are with you right now. There are no words to help console you at this time for the loss of your best friend and companion. I’m sending you the biggest hug over the internet and will pray that God will ease your pain over the next few months that come.
Caribou was a truly wonderful and noble dog- touching so many lives. I’m so sorry to hear that she lost the battle. Our best to you guys during this painful time.
I am so so sorry! I truly know exactly how you feel (see link below if you wish)and absolutely no dog will ever take Caribou’s place. Thoughts and prayers truly go out to you.
Wendy-
I’m so very sorry to hear about Caribou! The loss of a pet can be so devastating. I know she was more than just your pet, she was part of your family. My thoughts are with you.
I am so very sorry about the loss of your loyal companion. Ours pets bring so much joy into our lives, may those memories bring you much comfort at this difficult time.
Oh, Wendy. I’m so, so sorry. My heart aches for you, but smile for the time you had with her. Those memories will keep her with you forever. I’ll be thinking of you.
I am so sorry, Wendy! I know how much you loved Caribou. If I ever lost my cat, Kali, (especially now) I would be devastated and without words. Our pets can be our best friends because they are there for us with no explanations necessary. They comfort us when we cry, play with us when we are happy, curl up with us when we are sick, and love us no matter what our hair looks like or if we’ve got morning breath. My heart goes out to you, sweetheart.
this must be a hard loss for you indeed. I have a hard time going to the vet with my old boy these days with all of his health problems that keep cropping up. We’ve already had the talk about his life span and how far we are willing to go to make him comfy, but I think my baby is going to be here a bit longer.
I wish I could say that it will be ok, but losing a dog is tough. I hope that your pain eases soon.
Wendy, I am so sorry. I would be completely and utterly devastated without my dog so I can only imagine your pain right now. Please know that my prayers are with you. Sending you a big hug.
I know your pain. Putting down our Roxy after treating her cancer for 7 months was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, even though it was the right thing. It helps to think of the great times you shared with her. She’ll be waiting for you when your time comes.
Wendy,
On behalf of the people whom Caribou served so well, we thank you.
Their love is a gift of grace, these partners whose lives are even more temporary than our own.
