I enjoyed the “Chocolat” film so much that I’ve been sort of reluctant to try the book – don’t want to be disappointed. And I’m also very reluctant to find out what my blog might or might not be worth – that could be a big disappointment, too! But it’s valuable to me and I guess that’s all that really matters.

I loved Unaccustomed Earth–in fact, I’ve loved all her books.

And yes, I love to read award lists or “Best of” lists, for both music and books, especially when they are from random and unexpected places. It helps fill in the gaps for all the prize lists.

I’ve also joined the Orbis Terrarum challenge. Going to be fun!

I just read Interpreter of Maladies and love it. Unaccustomed Earth is next up soon for me. I also just brought home Chocolat from the library last week and I’m looking forward to reading it. The movie is fantastic…you should watch it!! I love all the different titles you’ve listed for us…so much to think about and to put on the wish list!!
