A friend recently wrote to tell me about another book called My Most Excellent Year. Apparently, it's a teen novel by Kluger. I want to read it and Almost Like Being In Love. I'll be anxious to hear your thoughts on the books. Sorry to be such a poor blog-hopper. We were in St. Louis for several days and I'm just now catching up on book blogs. Definitely for fans of The Tea Rose, though I'm puzzled at the comparison with Shadow of the Wind (other than that they're both well-written novels). I also agree with Kim above about the cover.
