It is 8:30 PM here on the West Coast and I am closing in on the finish line for this event – 1.5 hours to go to hit my goal of 12 hours of participation.
Here are my stats thus far:
TOTAL time spent reading: 7.5 hours
TOTAL number of pages read: 348
TOTAL time spent blogging: 3 hours
TOTAL TIME spent on Read-A-Thon: 10.5 hours
Number of books completed: 2/3rds of The Suspicions of Mr. Whicher (I read 1/3rd of this book yesterday before the Read-A-Thon started) and I am 152 pages into Malice by Lisa Jackson (which has a total of 424 pages)
You won’t hear from me again until tomorrow. I plan on pushing through these last 1.5 hours – reading straight through. And then I’ll go to bed and write up my summary on the event tomorrow morning.
But, I’ll make my goal no problem! I am happy that I did what I intended to do – and before I started I set a goal of finishing by 10:00pm tonight, which I will definitely do…right down to the minute!
