Rhapsody: It *was* a great series, wasn’t it? I have been tempted to re-read it one of these days.

Molly: LOL – isn’t it funny how “cheap” books were in those days? I cannot imagine what those original books would go for in today’s market! Thanks for the encouragement!!

I did not read all the Nancy Drew books, but I read a good number of them. I distinctly remember saving up my allowance money and every three weeks I would have enough to buy another book ($1.24 each). I think my books are boxed up somewhere in my attic. I keep thinking I am going to take them down and display them on my bookshelves, but that has yet to happen.

I hope you get lots of good reading accomplished today during the readathon.

You are so lucky to still have all your old Nancy Drews. Unfortunately I can’t remember much about them except being in love with Ned Nickerson, but one of these days I’m going to go to the library and see if I can go through the whole series (or see if I even want to anymore after trying one!)
