I visited the lavender farms in Oregon two years ago and had such a fun time taking pictures of the valley near Mt. Hood. We were just in the Portland area last week and visited the Oregon Garden in Silverton. My, the lavender was in full bloom (and full of bumblebees!). Smelled sooooooo good.
