I’ve never read any of Erdrich’s novel, but I’ve been meaning to. I listened to an interview with her on Minnesota Public Radio and she seems like a very interesting person.

I’ve been enjoying Erdrich’s short stories and have been meaning to try one of her novels. This one has been recommended before, but now it’s a definite! Great review.

I went thru an Erdrich phase in college – it started with an assignment in class, then I read everything I could. It’s been years (a lot of years!), but your review has me thinking I should re-visit some of these.
