Kathy: If you don't like books with tons of characters, I agree this might not be for you.

Rhapsody: I can see where reading this one in a week would help keep them all straight! I wish she'd included a character list (like Tolstoy did in War and Peace)

Nicole: Some people loved this book, others didn't ... overall, I ended up enjoying the trilogy, despite all the confusing names!

i was potentially interested in this until I heard of all the characters with similar sounding names. Oy! But I will keep an eye out for further reviews to see if I want to brave this one.

The presence of all those characters with similar names was one reason why I read through the whole book at once. There was no way I would have remembered who was who otherwise - it was bad enough reading it straight through!

I love that this is set in Norway, but I really struggle with books that have too many characters. I'm not sure if this is for me.
