I really loved Suite Francaise - but I have a feeling this novel is going to be better received by more readers (Suite Francaise felt unfinished...as indeed it was...and this one feels more like a complete story). I was surprised it felt so nuanced given that it wasn't 'finished', and I loved her characters and depictions of the French countryside.
