I am reading Small Kingdoms now. It is kind of interesting. I'll be watching to see what you think of it. The Irish series has beautiful covers!

Kathy: I really love the covers of all of Taylor's books :)

Mary: *nods* That's why I was so excited to get the email from Forge - his books have been on my wish list for a very long time now.

Alyane: Thanks for stopping by - I'll be by to see yours soon!

Serena: Thanks!

JoAnn: I keep seeing great reviews of Wolf Hall - I can't wait to read that one.

Allie: I'm eager to check them out - right now I'm in NH visiting my sister/family and these books all arrived after I left (luckily Kip is willing to send me detailed emails of what I've gotten *laughs*)

Carolyn: I hope you'll love Adichie - she is one of my favorite authors...and I am eager to explore her short stories. Glad you were inspired by the video I posted! I hope I like the Patrick Taylor books better than you did :)

Ooh, more of the same choices I've made for this year -- The Thing Around Your Neck and Wolf Hall. My husband gave me the The Tudors series for Xmas, so I'm ready to start WH now that I have all the players straight in my mind. And I decided I had to read some Adiche after watching the TED lecture she gave that you linked to (thanks!). On the other hand, I'll be looking forward to reading your review of Irish Country Doctor because I did not enjoy that book very much (but always ready to listen to diverse opinions). Lots to look forward to!

I have The Mayo Clinic Cookbook - there isn't a bad recipe in there. They are time consuming, but worth it. I'm guessing the diet books are similar.
