I remember feeling a sense of comfort when I was finally able to walk in my kitchen and start cooking again - after Rachel's death. It took a long time to find joy in the simple act of creating a meal for myself and Rod, but once I found my way back to my kitchen, I found great comfort in the small acts of chopping, stirring and mixing. I've been reading all the wonderful reviews for this book and can't wait to read it myself. I just learned I'm getting a copy from Bellezza and I am so excited! It sounds like just my kind of book.
