Jodi Picoult – LIVESTREAM event from Atria Literary Salon

Welcome to today’s special event: The Atria Literary Salon Series. Jodi Picoult is the special guest, being interviewed by book reviewer Bethanne Patrick. The salon is  part of an event held at New York City’s Andaz 5th Avenue Hotel to celebrate the release of Picoult’s 17th novel Sing You Home, a story about a same-sex couple and their attempts to have a child (more details here).  Published on March 1, 2011 by Atria Books, the novel includes a compact disc of original songs created for the novel and sung by Ellen Wilber, who will also be performing on the webcast. You can read my review of the book here.

Autographed books for purchase will be available before, during and after this web event by visiting this page. A portion of proceeds from each sale will be donated to Jodi’s charity of choice, The Trevor Project, the leading national organization focused on crisis and suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth.

The event begins at 7:00 PM (EST) or 4:00 PM (PST). ENJOY!!!

So glad you enjoyed it, Les – fun event. I hope they’ll send us an embed link for the whole video/interview so that readers who missed the live feed can still watch it.
