I’m working on a little something using my yummy Denise Schmidt Hope Valley fabric. I am trying to spread my wings a little – try things I haven’t done yet. And stars are on my list of blocks to stitch.
These are double triangle stars. I wanted to try some wonky stars, but I quickly found myself discouraged trying to get them to look right (I practiced with scraps before cutting into my good fabric).
I’m starting with the orange colorway.
But when I’m done I will also have pink, green and blue-gray.
I have to admit, these little blocks are a bit addictive! They’re almost 7 inches in size…and I might do some more “framing” of them before they’re done to make them 8″.
It is a work in progress…
Stay tuned!

Paula: I know you do
