Thanks to the good folks at Macmillan, I am pleased to be able to offer an Unabridged Compact Disc version of The Marriage Plot to one US reader of my blog. Regular visitors here will know that I just finished reading the physical book…and loved it (read my review) – so when I was offered the opportunity to share an audio version of The Marriage Plot, I jumped at the chance. Even if you’ve already read the book, this would make a terrific Christmas gift!
Before I tell you how you can enter for a chance to win, let me tell you a little more about the book and author.
From the publisher:
Are the great love stories of the nineteenth century dead? Or can there be a new story, written for today and alive to the realities of feminism, sexual freedom, prenups, and divorce? With devastating wit and an abiding understanding of and affection for his characters, Jeffrey Eugenides revives the motivating energies of the Novel, while creating a story so contemporary and fresh that it reads like the intimate journal of our own lives.
