Armchair BEA – Crem Della Crem

It’s the second day of Armchair BEA and in addition to all the book giveaways being offered around the blog-o-sphere, bloggers are also talking about their favorite books of the year and those they are most anticipating.

Share some of your favorite books so far this year, and/or the the books being promoted at BEA that you hope will end up among your favorites for the year!

I’ve already shared my top five favorites of the year on this post. So I thought I would list three of  the books which I am looking forward to in the fall of 2012. Click on the title of each book to visit the publisher’s page for the book.

Favorite Authors with New Titles:

What about you? Are there books by some of your favorite authors which will be released in the coming months?

None of those have I read. I hope you stop by my giveaway.

  1. Those all look good! I’m especially looking forward to the Kingsolver book.

  2. I haven’t read any of those authors, either, but I definitely am dying to read Kate Morton. Hopefully, soon! Happy Armchair BEA, Wendy!

I always hear good things about Kate Morton’s books, but I’ve not had a chance to read any of them yet. I hope to rectify that this year.

  3. For some reason I’ve only read one of Kate Morton’s books. I enjoyed it and want to read more of hers but just haven’t picked one up yet. I need to do something about that.

  4. I tried to read an earlier book by Morton and thought it was awful. Don’t quite understand her popularity.

  5. I haven’t heard of any of these books! I’ll have to go look them up.

I just got a copy of The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver and I’m looking forward to reading it. I also just picked up and finished The Island of the Blue Dolphins which I found very enchanting.

I keep meaning to read a Kate Morton book, but I just haven’t done so yet. I need to get on the ball.
