Mailbox Monday – October 1, 2012

Welcome to this week’s Mailbox Monday and it looks like it will be hosted on the dedicated blog for the meme this month. You can go there see the complete tour schedule in the right sidebar as well.

Here is what showed up at my house since my last Mailbox Monday post (and before I left to go back East):

Dana at Kaye Publicity sent me a copy of Arctic Fire by Stephen Frey (October 2012).  This is a suspense-thriller novel in the political-financial espionage genre. Troy Jensen is a man who seems to be able to do anything: conquer the Seven Summits, sail solo around the world twice, fight a bull in a Mexican slum on a dare. So when it is reported that he has drowned in the Bering Sea after being swept from a crab fishing boat by a rogue wave, his brother Jack doesn’t buy it. As Jack goes undercover to learn the truth about Troy’s disappearance, he discovers that civilian rules no longer apply, especially when men are committed to destroying America in order to protect it.
