I’ve had a productive month in quilting. I managed to finish the Brrr! pillow as part of a sew along on Threadbias (I think it looks cute on that rocker with my Bliss quilt hanging behind it).
But what I am really trying to do these days is finish some of the quilts that have been piled up in my unfinished stacks. I am just a little bit embarrassed to tell you how many unfinished quilts I actually have laying around…I will tell you it is more than ten (maybe more than twenty, I’m not sure anymore), but there are two which I am determined to get done soon.
The top quilt on that stack is my Kaleidoscope quilt which is very, very bright and dramatic. I used lots of Kaffe Fassett prints and I am excited to get it pinned and quilted.
The second quilt in the stack is called Starlight and uses the Lilly Belle collection of fabrics from Bari J. Ackerman (from Art Gallery). I love the hand on this fabric, but I have to tell you, I’ve been wrestling with this quilt for months now. Everything that could go wrong, has gone wrong. But it is pinned now and I’m going to start the quilting this weekend.
Stay tuned for photos of the finished projects sometime in February!!

You work is always so beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
You do such an amazing job of picking and piecing fabrics and creating great quilts! I would love to be able to have that much talent with this skill. I can’t wait to see what the finished products look like!
Beautiful work. I can’t imagine having begun that many quilts, let alone think about finishing them.
