A few years ago I noticed some of my favorite quilting blogs were choosing a word for the year. I like that idea. It is not a resolution, but an intent. A focus. A promise.

My word for 2016 is “discover.”

We are never really complete or finished. There is so much “new” out there. Life flies by and I don’t want any regrets. I want to explore and discover new things – new places, new talents, new crafts. The list is endless.

I invite you on the journey!

Love having a word of year…this year mine is “embrace” reminding myself to embrace all the new experiences changes in my life will bring 🙂

Wendy, I love your word, ‘discover’. Think it is very appropriate. Good luck in your year of exploring or ‘discovering’ what that means for you. I’m doing the ‘one word’ thing this year too. Will talk about it on Monday, but my word is ‘joy’. Hugs to you. Take care.
