Booker Award Winners and Finalists: 1969 – Present

The Man Booker Prize for Fiction, first awarded in 1969, promotes the finest in fiction by rewarding the very best book of the year. The Man Booker International Prize, awarded every two years, recognizes one writer for their achievement in fiction. This prize was first awarded in 2005.
